A service of Hope

Below is an email from an organization we partner a lot with here at The Summit. As you know from a previous post, Courtney and I lost a child to miscarriage earlier this year. In our mourning, I’ve wondered & asked how God is going to use this to his glory through us. One unique opportunity has come up for us on May 6. I will be preaching at a service for those who have lost little ones during or shortly following pregnancy. If you or someone you know is in that category, I want to invite you to join me there. Read below for more.

Hello from Pregnancy Support Services of Wake Forest,

We are preparing to host our annual Service of Hope. This is an opportunity for women and their families to remember their little ones lost due to a miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, or early infant death. One in four women in the evangelical church have had an abortion and roughly 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. We want to provide an opportunity for women and their families to grieve their loss and offer them a message of hope and healing. We would appreciate your help in informing your congregation of our upcoming service. This year the service will be held at the North Raleigh campus of Summit Church on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 7:00pm. If you are interested in attending, please email Paige as soon as possible at paige.psswf@gmail.com for more information
