Monday on the Links

Back in action for another round of Monday on the Links. By the way, it would be good for me to know what you are interested in when it comes to resources, etc in the world of small groups and discipleship. Your comments will inform how we go from here on these mondays so please weigh in. Last week we saw some small group specific sites. Today I want to expand to some sites broader in scope but ones I visit regularly as helps to teach me more about my life as a disciple. If they have feeds, they are on my reader.

  • 9 Marks – In their own words: “9Marks wants to help local churches re-establish their biblical bearings and re-think their ministry methods. We exist to help local church pastors and leaders in the discovery and application of the biblical priorities that cultivate health and holiness in the local church” The site is fairly well organized and one I visit frequently for well-organized & well-thought commentary on the church.
  • The Resurgence These guys are churning out solid content and resources as regularly as any other organization out there right now. Great for people at any place in their christian life. I actually imagine most who read this blog know of this site but if not, check it out.
  • Desiring God – Again, another one I hope you’ve seen before but if not please do check out. Dr. Piper is simply a gifted preacher and his site is well-organized. I check it regularly when I come to the point of wanting to see how some gifted bible teachers have understood scripture and how it speaks into life.
  • The Gospel Coalition – Watch out, this site dishes out loads of content that can be overwhelming if you feed-read it. That said, the site is a wealth of good content from a bunch of pastor-theologians that is fairly easy to navigate.

Any other good sites you are on regularly that you would recommend to other group leaders, pastors, etc?
